Independent pub · Bristol
The Portwall Tavern is a Victorian one-bar pub in Redcliffe, Bristol, opposite St Mary Redcliffe church. The pub says it dates back to 1847 and sits at the edge of where the Old Portwall once stood. CAMRA lists three changing cask beers, usually a pale ale, a bitter and often a mild, from breweries local to Bristol; typical names include On Point, Twisted and Wiper & True. The pub was refurbished in 2018. Pub grub is made with fresh ingredients from local suppliers, and there is a seating area outside at the front.
