Independent pub · Bristol
The Old Lock & Weir is at Hanham Mills, Bristol, in a riverside location on the edge of the River Avon. It calls itself a traditional English, dog-friendly pub with a huge beer garden. CAMRA describes a riverside cottage pub on two levels: the upper level is the bar, with a flagstone floor and tall bar stools, and downstairs are three linked drinking rooms. The main attraction, CAMRA says, is the heated patio on the river's edge. Freshly prepared British food is served, including Sunday roasts. CAMRA lists two regular beers.
