The Old George is a pub on Bethnal Green Road in Bethnal Green, London. It describes itself as an old pub with a contemporary twist, and maybe a ghost or two. The interior is stripped back to bare floorboards and bare bricks, and the removed ground floor fascia revealed old Truman's Brewery signage beneath. Three handpumps are installed, and the pub offers a wide variety of drinks. There is a large rear garden. Darts and pool are played, there is live music, and dogs are welcome.
