Independent pub · Brighton
Lion And Lobster is a back-street pub in Brighton, behind the Bandstand on the seafront. The pub calls itself iconic and says it spreads over three characterful floors, from a classic pub to a Regency restaurant and a hidden rooftop terrace. Cask ale and cider are stocked, and regulars include Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter and 360 Degree Fastback Pale Ale. CAMRA describes the feel as a modern one blended with a traditional atmosphere. Live jazz is hosted on Sundays, and a quiz night runs on Mondays. Dogs are welcome.
