Independent pub · Sheffield
The Head of Steam is on Norfolk Street in the centre of Sheffield, right on Tudor Square. It occupies the former Sheffield & Hallamshire Savings Bank, a large single room with a central island bar and an outside drinking area on the square. It joined the Head of Steam chain in 2016. The bar says it has a celebrated selection of local craft beer and real ale, with breweries from around the world. The hand pumps usually carry beers from independent Yorkshire and North East breweries. Pizzas, loaded fries and burgers are on the food menu, and live sport is shown.
