Independent pub · Manchester
Head of Steam is a bar on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury, south Manchester. It says it brings craft beer culture into a relaxed suburban setting, with a wide range of beers. The pub reopened as the Head of Steam on 1 February 2018 after a refurbishment, with pine wood fixtures, booths and a very long bar. It serves a large selection of cask ales and many bottled beers, and any draught beer can be put into a can for takeaway. There is a quiz on Wednesdays and an open mic night on Thursdays. Food is served all day, and an enclosed area at the front allows for drinking outside.
