Independent pub · London
The Harwood Arms is a pub hidden away in the back streets of Fulham. Built in 1866 as a beer house, it is now a food-led gastropub, and it says it is currently the only Michelin-starred pub in London. The cooking champions British produce with a focus on game and wild food; the venison scotch egg and Sunday venison roast feature prominently on the menu. The pub uses fruit and veg from its rooftop garden, and the wine list is elaborate, with French vintages dominating. Most of the evening seating is laid out for diners, so booking ahead is wise.
