Independent pub · Hove
Hangleton Manor is a pub-restaurant in Hangleton, West Hove. The pub says the manor dates to the 15th century and was once home to the High Sheriff of Sussex, and that it is the second most listed building in Brighton and Hove after the Royal Pavilion. Regulars on cask include Badger Tanglefoot and Badger Best Bitter. CAMRA recognises it as an outstanding pub conversion. The bar has a stone-flagged floor. Outside there is a large garden, and dogs are welcome.
