Fox on the Green is a pub in the heart of Islington, a few minutes' walk from Angel Station. It occupies an impressive corner site on Islington Green, with terrace seating. The building is Grade II listed, refitted as a pub around 1900, and its bar still has a late 19th century bar back with an arcaded superstructure and a Lincrusta ceiling. The pub describes itself as a dog-friendly establishment with a warm atmosphere. It shows live sport, including boxing, and holds regular comedy nights and live DJ sets. Secondary rooms are available for hire.
