The Chesham Arms is a Victorian public house on Mehetabel Road, close to Hackney Central. It describes itself as a friendly, welcoming community pub and is dog friendly. Five hand pumps dispense a constantly changing range of cask ales from across Britain, with premium keg beers and a wide selection of bottled and canned beers too. It has two fireplaces for winter and a big garden for summer. Takeaway food can be brought in, and pizza from Yard Sale is popular. CAMRA's East London and City branch named it Pub of the Year in 2016 and Cider Pub of the Year in 2025.
