Independent pub · London
The Admiral Codrington, known locally as the Cod, is on Mossop Street, tucked away between Chelsea and South Kensington. It was licensed in 1830 as a beer house and rebuilt in the 1860s because of railway tunnelling. The pub calls itself a freehouse and is part of Inda Pubs, an independent family business with ten West London neighbourhood pubs. Three handpumps serve cask ale. The kitchen offers seasonal British food and Sunday roasts, and diners can eat in the al fresco dining room. There is also a patio.
